Vanilla with Chocolate Chip Cupcakes

These Vanilla with Chocolate Chip Muffins were made specially for Ana's mummy (: Am really thankful that she opens her house up for us to have our cell group meeting ever Friday night and especially since she's asked for some simple cupcakes to satisfy her craving, I baked her some (:

These Vanilla with Chocolate Chip Cupcakes are almost effortless as they're the basic of all basics.


Vanilla with Chocolate Chip Cupcakes Recipe
This recipe yields 14 cupcakes
Ingredients: 

76g butter, unsalted
43g castor sugar
125g self raising flour
1 egg
80ml cup water
2 tsp vanilla essence
45g dark coverture chocolate buttons



Steps:
The ingredients. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
  
Add the butter into the sugar and mix well.

Add the egg and mix well.

Add the flour and mix well.

Add in the vanilla essence and mix well.

Add in the water and mix well.

Add in the chocolate buttons. Stir gently to incorporate the chocolate buttons.

Spoon the batter into cupcake cups till 3/4 full. I only filled them 2/3 of the way and they didn't rise and gigh as I wanted them to.

Bake the cupcakes for 13 minutes or till a toothpick comes out clean from the middle of the cupcake.

The freshly baked cupcakes!

  3. I use the same amount of ingredients but I only yield 10 cupcakes and it only raise to half of the cup. Y like that?
