This recipe is really simple and I love it! I'd rate it a difficulty level 2 out of 5 and it takes about 30 minutes to prepare, excluding time to prepare marinate which is a few short minutes.
Air fryer Char Siew
400g pork belly/shoulder butt cut into chunks
2 pieces Chinese fermented red bean curd
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Chinese Shao Xing Wine
1 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp dark and thick soy sauce
1/4 tsp white pepper
3 tbsp fine or castor sugar
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or bag.
Remove meat from marinate and bake in preheated airfryer at 160 degree Celsius for 10-15 mins, flipping meat over once in the middle of baking.
Apply marinate on meat nearing end of baking if you'd like.
