Billy & Cynthia POST 9: Our Progress (August 2013)

It's already mid August and we're merely 4.5 months away from the wedding! It's been a luxury having 14 months to plan for our wedding. But as time ticks away, it seems like we have so much to do and so little time for everything! It really doesn't help that work has been taking up so much of both of our time. We've also been hunting for Interior Designers for our first home.

So before I go on to share our progress for our big day planning, here's 2 photos of our pre-wedding photoshoot that I'd like to share with all of you! (:

These photos maybe pretty but somehow, they do bring back a certain amount of bad memories with the bridal studio. Seletar Broadway, sighs.. where should I even begin? In any case, more on the bridal studio in time to come.

We've settled most of the larger components for the wedding.

Here's a list of stuff we have completed/settled so far...
1) Pre-wedding photoshoot

4) Confirmation of ang bao box
5) Confirmation of wedding invites
6) Confirmation of wedding favours
7) Confirmation of flower decor for church
8) Confirmation of timeline for AD
9) Confirmation of location for picking of bride (me!)

11) Helper's list

Here's what we have yet to do.. (!!!!)

Billy & Cynthia POST 7: Selected Photoshoot Gowns

Here are my selected gowns for the photoshoot. I'm totally in love with the corseted bustier type of gown as it flatters my body the most. For the indoor photoshoot, I'm using my AD WG, my AD EG. For the outdoor photoshoot, I'm using these two gowns: the PS WG and the PS EG. (:

Billy & Cynthia POST 6: The Gown Fitting, The Nays

Before we start, here are some acronyms I'll be using:
AD = Actual Day
PS = Photo Shoot
WG = Wedding Gown
EG = Evening Gown

So I did my gown fitting in Seletar Broadway in the last week of December. I took about 3h+ to pick my AD WG, AD EG, PS WG & PS EG as well as for the fav boy to pick out 2 suits.

Selecting the AD WG was relatively easy as I've already had my eyes set on a particular gown before we signed our package. In this entry, I'll be sharing the NAYS of my gown fitting.

Billy & Cynthia POST 5: Pre-wedding Photoshoot Preparation

We decided to do our pre-wedding photo shoot in March for various reasons. One of the worries we had when we were doing the gown fitting was if my MTM AD gown would be in time for the photo shoot. Thankfully, it is!

Having already done 3 casual photo shoots in our earlier days of courtship (photos below!), we opted not to do any casual wear photo shoot this time round. So this time round, here are the few things that we're having in terms of attire for the photo shoot.

1) AD wedding gown (indoors)
2) AD evening gown (indoors)
3) 2nd hand wedding gown (outdoors)
4) 2nd hand evening gown (outdoors)
5) 2 suit

Billy & Cynthia POST 3: Our bridal package

Here's a sneek peek at the evening gown for my Actual Day banquet!

As we all know, what's a wedding without beautiful wedding gowns? It's said to be the only white dress that would make every girl the prettiest girl that very day of their wedding. So, of course for Our Big Day, I want to don a beautiful white wedding gown and walk down the aisle to the favourite boy who would be eager to marry me! (:

Image taken from this website.

So, we needed a bridal studio that could provide us with the rental of gowns, make-up as well as photography for our pre-weddding shoot as well as actual day. We visited close to 15 bridal studios both locally and in JB to hunt for the right one. Trust me, bridal visiting is a very tiring process. I'll be blogging more about what some of the local studios as well as JB studios offered us.

As the entry is relatively long, please click on the link below to read more! (:
