My journey with replica food (Ganso Shokuhin Sample-ya Kits)

I love replica food. It's always fascinated me and I can stand outside displays and gawk for eons. The last time round we were in Tokyo I got 2 DIY kits from Ganso Shokuhin Sample-ya. I've been wanting to head back to buy them but I've not had the chance to do so. It's tough to trouble friends to get it for me when they visit Japan too. So this time round, I decided to get the entire set. So here's to recording my replica food kit journey!

Tokyo 2015 Day 6: Disneyland

On Day 6, we headed back to Maihama and walked towards Disneyland. The walk via the bridge is comparatively shorter to the one to Disney Sea.

After the incident in Disney Sea, we left the park early. After a good night's rest, we headed to the park earlier. We had planned to be there 1/2 an hour early but we did get the timings confused (heh!) so we outside the park an hour before the park opened. The queue was fairly short!

It was cold but it was good! Of course, the excitement was building up! The 1st trick to any Disney parks is to be early. Being in the queue an hour before opening would be great.

Tokyo 2015 Day 5 - Disney Sea.. the day we lost our wallet

I love Disney. It's something bout it being really magical that makes me wanna visit over and over again. The last time we were in Tokyo, we were at Disneyland and Disney Sea too. It's always been a dream of mine to enjoy Disney during the Christmas season.. And this time round, my dream came true (:

We were really tired so we kinda woke up late on our day to Disney Sea. We took the train to Tokyo station where we changed to another train to get to Maihama station. The train stops between Disneyland and Disney Sea. There's a monorail that goes to both parks but it goes an entire loop towards the hotel etc before it gets to the parks so we walked to Disney Sea. That was a 800m walk in! We walked a lot in Tokyo. So be sure to put on comfortable shoes! We got in just when the park opened (the crowd has already surged in)..
We made our way to the Fast Pass Queue for the Toy Story ride..

Tokyo 2015 Day 4 - Yokohama Sea Paradise and Landmark Tower

On Day 4, the hubby took me to Yokohama. The ride out was far.. but enjoyable! (:

My OOTD!

We had breakfast at Mac!

Tokyo 2015 Day 3 - Ueno Zoo, Ameyoko Ueno, Odaiba Gundam and Daiso

On Day 3, we slept a little more and headed to Ueno Zoo.

We had breakfast at a little shop near our hotel. This only cost us 550 yen!

We've been to Ueno Zoo the last time round but cos' I loved the zoo, the hubby took me here again. I haven't got much photos of the place.. but I've got lots of photos of the pretty trees!

Tokyo 2015 Day 2 - Fuji-Q Highland, Takashimaya and Gundams

On Day 2, we got up pretty early to head to Fuji-Q Highland. The train ride out was about an hour long.

We woke up to a really beautiful sky.

We went to Tokyo station to grab a train up to Fuji-Q. The transport system can be pretty complex.. I'm just blessed to have had the hubby plan everything! XD

Tokyo 2015 Day 1 - Travelling by United Airlines and Zauo Dining

After our honeymoon to Tokyo last Jan, the hubby and I have been eager to return. We never really got to planning it cos it did seem far-fetch with it being pretty costly. We spent about 6.5k the last time round for our honeymoon so it is a seemingly huge sum.

With the introduction of Waku Waku Japan on mio TV in the middle of the year, our yearning grew stronger. In July/Aug, the pricing for air tickets and flight was pretty good so we took a plunge and booked our vacation. We were truly blessed to have been able to raise sufficient money for the trip with some surplus!

It was a much needed trip cos the year has been tough.
We were gonna fly by United Airlines and we had 2 x 23kg luggage allowance per pax! The hubby lugged 2 luggage to Tokyo while I hid one in a larger luggage!

The night before our morning flight, we were so excited we could barely sleep. After all, it was truly surreal. We took a 7am flight via United Airlines.

McDonald's Clubhouse Burgers

My holidays are amazing. I've been out since my holidays started, spending time with my family. (: Monday was Hai Di Lao with my mil and Aunty Stella while Tuesday was lunch with my mum and sis followed by shopping with my mummy. Such bliss!

After our long shopping trip in the afternoon, mum and I had dinner at Mcdonald's. I have to confess.. the hubby and I have mcd's pretty often, delivery style. Some times, I crave for it.. some times, we're lazy to cook, some times, we just need a late night snack.

So yesterday, I finally got to try out truffle fries! We shy-ed away from the crowd at the quiet mcd's near my mum's.

I am a COKE ADDICT. Okay, I said it. I love coke. I know it's bad but it's my happy drink. I used to take it almost one a day.. now it's 6 cans for 3 weeks XD Anyway, I liked the Coke Float!!! (: Reminds me of vanilla coke!

The Beef Clubhouse was okay.. I think I like Big Mac better XD Though the slice of chicken bacon did make it tastier!

The Truffle Fries!!! Mummy liked it but it's like a tie between truffle and seaweed. I may like the seaweed one a teeny weeny bit more than the truffle! But it was still good!

This.. is.. good. Juicy chicken, Big Mac sauce (slurps!)...

There's also the Red Velvet McFlurry but I didn't try it cos I was too full from dinner. I think the hubby would love it though. He tries all the mcflurry flavours when there's a new launch!
