Fresh Mango Konnyaku Jellies

Wasn't in too good of a mood and I really wanted to lay my hands on something in the kitchen.
Wanted to make fruit tarts but my milk expired 3 days ago! ):
So I used the mango that I had intended to use for the fruit tarts for Konnyaku Jellies.
Simple to make, less than 30 minutes!

Happy Call Pan Roasted Chicken & Roasted Potatoes

This is an awesome 1 dish meal.
I was so amazed at how fast the Happy Call Pan could grill this Happy Call Pan Roasted Chicken and Roasted Potato in merely 20 minutes!
The meat was so tender and the potatoes were moist and soft!
Preparation took about 15 minutes and about an hour to marinate.

Ingredients:

1 medium sized chicken
4 tsp of mixed herbs
1.5 tbsp of salt

Happy Call Pan Vegetable Medley

This is a simple dish of Happy Call Pan Vegetable Medley
It's just a random mix of Broccoli and Baby Carrots.
The only difficulty here is ensuring that the vegetables don't get burnt.
This dish took 5 minutes to prepare and 5 - 7 minutes to cook.

Happy Call Pan: Roasted Pork (Shio Bah)

2 weeks back, I embarked on my first trial of Roasted Pork
Yes, I'm a HUGE fan of this Chinese delicacy, especially since the skin is 'oh-so-crunchy'!
Since it'll usually take eons with a an oven, or so I've read, I'm more than happy to know that my Happy Call Pan can cook this in a MUCH SHORTER TIME!
I'm so in love with my Happy Call Pan that I've actually dedicated more time to cooking as it's my way of relieving stress.
I spent about $8 for 4 slabs of pork bellies + $2 for the 5 spice powder (enough supply for many many times of roasted pork!)
This dish takes 30 minutes to prepare, at least an hour to marinate and 30 minutes to cook.
Recipe's adapted from: Happy Call FB Group.

It's not that difficult to cook this dish or to prepare it but I guess it does take some skill and practice to perfect this dish.

Roasted Pork Recipe
Ingredients:

4 slabs of pork belly (I got mine from NTUC and Shop and Save)
However, if time permits, get it from the wet market butcher as you can get a larger slab of meat. These were too skinny and I had a tough time balancing them on the skin! My 2nd batch were made with a larger slab of meat I had the NTUC butcher chop for me (: More costly though!

MARINATE
3 tbsp of 5 spice powder
2 tbsp of white pepper
2 tbsp of salt

2 tbsp of salt for the skin
1 tsp of salt for boiling the meat

1 tbsp of olive oil or another other oil for frying

Happy Call Pan Rosti

One of the awesomest home-cooked Rostis.

Hi all!
Apologies for having been away for so long.
I've been uninspired for the longest time ever.
Doesn't help that this Semester is a mad one, that I barely even have time for myself!

Nevertheless, I'm been shopping on Gmarket Korea and I've got myself one of the AWESOMEST purchases!

The Happy Call Deep Pan! (:

It's been highly raved by many and I found a really good price for this as compared to local stores.
I got mine at merely SGD$55 as compared to $108 in stores!
That's major savings!
I even conducted a spree with my friends and we've ordered 30 pans so far!

Anyway, I did my first dish with the Happy Call Pan: ROSTI!
I'm such a huge fan of rosti and I've even tried those pre-packed ones.
However, rostis as such take up to 30 minutes to get a real good 'skin'.

With my Happy Call Pan, I took merely 10 minutes to get it cooked from scratch and even be crispy with the skin! How amazing, isn't it?

This recipe calls for 2 large or 4 medium potatoes and some household spices etc. so this is a relatively simple dish to prepare! Preparation takes about 10 minutes and it takes 10 minutes to cook.
Recipe credits to Sandra (:

Happy Call Pan Rosti
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes (I used Brastagi Hertha Washed Potatoes)
2 teaspoon of Chicken Seasoning Granules
2 teaspoon corn flour
A dash of pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
